Mountain safety poster.

 We were learning about Creating a poster about mountain safety, With the KCC (Kiwi conservation club) book. It's during reading time we need to complete slides and make them very efficient.  

I found it easy to edit the poster and make it look tidy, I don't think I should've been wasting my time on making it look tidy and clean. For substance I would've liked to make it more better on the writing next time. 

I found it hard to make my work look better, while just making it more fancy I could've used my time actually working on it and not wasting my time on little things for the poster.  

Next time I will Make my writing more adjective, and adjust the long sentences into medium sentences.

Persuasive writing (Natural Disasters!)

 We were learning about if it is important to be prepared for a natural disaster. The subject was writing, persuasive writing.  Persuasive writing is something that proves somebody to agree to your point of the subject. It means proving to somebody that your opinion is better than their opinion.

I found it easy to make the paragraph's persuade the reader so the reader can understand when people get trapped in a dangerous natural disaster. Natural disasters are very dangerous in my opinion. You could die being trapped in any of them. That is why it is important to be prepared for a natural disaster.

I found it hard to do the editing because I already had fixed up most of my spelling mistakes while reading through my persuasive writing, listening to read-and write.

Next time I will try harder on my persuading instead of the spelling adjectives because then it might as well be called a adjective writing session. Not that much persuasion in my writing, I don't really think so.

Camp kaitawa

 We were learning about making an animation about when the team toroa year 6's went to Camp Kaitawa. My Animation is when I was kayaking on the lake down by the Burma trail. Also we had to fill out these questions of what my best highlights were about camp, What I found challenging, and what I'd tell the next Awapuni camp kids!

I found it easy to read the questions we had to answer and reply to them because I did it very quickly I just wanted to start my animation so I had more time to think about what I could do.

I found it challenging to Keep duplicating the animation part of the slide literally every 20 seconds it was making my hands hurt and they got super numb.

Next time I will add more mote into my slide and add more words so people know more about the camp kaitawa animation.

Swimming in the rain.

 We were learning about swimming in the rain recount, its technically just Team Toroa swimming in the Awapuni school pool. it was very fun sort of cold but once I got used to it I was very numb.

I found it easy to paddle up the middle and down the side (Bubble bubble BLOW!).

I found it challenging to breath when my head turned to get out of the water because lots of the water was shooting up my nostrils.

Next time I will do a backstroke and take deeper breaths so I can make it to the end without complaining.

Hourota story animation!

 We were learning about making a horouta animation, my part of the story is when the waka hit a sand bar. I polylined it all none of it is an image.

I found it easy to duplicate the slides for the same pictures.

I found it challenging to polyline every single thing on the slide because it was very tempting and my hand was double clicking heaps of times on the keyboard which made the polyline reset and it was taking time up.

Next time I will add more mote so people get to know more about the topic of the story.

Sunflower

  We were learning about making a sunflower poem. Kind of like an acrostic poem or a haiku poem. its describing a sun flowers quality's and personality about that sunflower. But we are making the sunflower come to life in a story it makes a picture inside of your head.

I found it easy to insert the pictures of the yellow sunflowers and do adjectives for the poem I chose a variety of adjectives for this poem they really beam up the story.

I found it challenging to try and not to add a single boring word I didn't really know what to call the sunflower but I thought Mr sunflower would be a great name.

Next time I will make more progress and try to not go crazy with the sunflower pictures so I could just focus on more about the poem instead of the easy pictures and the background.

Triathlon

 We were learning about the day we had done the Awapuni School Triathlon. it is like the weet-bix triathlon but from awapuni school at churchill park. It doesn't have much people their it's just parents, teachers, and kids.

I found it easy to find my team and cooperate of what we were going to each do and we did it quite well I think we did our best to win.

I found it challenging to swim my way to the end of the cold pool because it was freezing and when I got out I felt like I was fainting.

Next time I will try not to slip over in the pool and take more grip to it with my feet.

Mythical avatar (MANAIAKALANI)

 We were learning about making a mythical avatar that might come to life kind of like a superhero. It has superpowers (Lightning) Mythical thing (Horns on its tail) Element (Earth)

I found it easy to polyline some of the objects and get most of the decorations like,stars, the moon, water. and like that.

I found it challenging to do the writing and describe bolt in his ways. Because I needed to write sort of like a poem for bolt.

Next time I will think about my spelling more so it can be perfect.
